Black is Back is a top-down action-packed game where players take on the role of Blake, a black cat who accidentally died and entered the planet Meow, and is constantly collecting the souls of other cats in order to return to earth. Players need to travel through the intricate towns, steal the souls of the cats and avoid the cats!

Players take on the role of a shadowless soul thief, intense and exciting shuttle between the city to steal the soul of the meow and then quickly slipped away, feel the heartbeat of being chased by the whole city!

CORE MECHANIC

Absorb Soul

Players approaching an enemy can perform a Soul Suck, and when successful, the soul will follow the player while the enemy chases the player in an attempt to retrieve their soul. As the player collects more and more souls, the souls will form a long "soul tail" behind the player.
